About the Designer: Lainey Volz

A little about me!

Hello! My name is Lainey Volz, a Fashion and Textile Design student at NC State's Wilson College of Textiles. I couldn't be happier, as I have dreamed about being a fashion designer since the second grade.  I have the best memories of my mom and dad taking me to fabric stores and setting up my sewing equipment on Christmas mornings.  My love for design and the support of my incredible family has led me here, following my dreams and soaking in every moment of my fashion education. With a strong passion for size inclusivity and sustainability, I'm ecstatic about being a part of the industry and driving changes.
